Gracias a ello, y a los más de 50 artesanos que aquí se concentran, esta localidad del Baix Empordà se ha ganado el título de capital de la cerámi-ca. En ella trabaja Diego Sampere (samperebarcelona.com) quien, desde su taller de Carrer de l’Aigüeta, el corazón de la actividad ceramista, crea vajillas de gres cocidas a 1.260 °C, presentes en restaurantes con estrellas Michelin. Thanks to this heritage, and to the more than 50 artisans con-centrated here, this town in the Baix Empordà region has earned the title of ceramics capital.
